Days with grandparents are so much fun, especially when you have a sugar high from all of the Valentine candy!

Three years ago for Valentine's Day Ben and the boys sent me away to the spa. Ben had someone come clean the house, while he and Benjamin Harris prepared dinner and decorated for a special Valentine's meal. Benjamin Harris was 3 at the time and Stephen Louis was not yet 1. The Lost City Restaraunt was the name that Benjamin Harris gave to our kitchen that night, as he had transformed it with a little help into a magical place. So, we have a special sign hanging in our kitchen that was so sweetly written last year in Benjamin Harris' handwriting that labels it as the "Lost City Rastront". The picture below is our Valentine's Dinner at this special place!

Heritage Academy had an Iron Chef Cook off for mothers and sons and of course we entered. Benjamin Harris wanted to make Chocolate Chip Pie. We had a good time cooking together and his pie turned out wonderfully.

This photo is from the morning of the Big Contest! He won in the Pie Category. He was so excited! They even gave him a $5 gift card to Beans and Cream, one of our favorite place to go for doing homework, reading, playing games/puzzles and to get some yummy treats!
