AMAZING GRACE
AMAZING LOVE
"Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned." Mark 16:16

LET'S DIVE IN! -SPIRITALLY SPEAKING (To understand what I am talking about, turn up the volume on your computer and listen to the words of the 1st song on my playlist.)

Our beautiful, baby boy is growing up-spiritually, emotionally, and physically! Benjamin Harris was Baptized Sunday, February 1st! (He made his profession of faith back in June, but had to wait to be baptized because of Charli Marie's birth and then were out-of-town at the last service that Brother Chip Baptized several others! He has been so looking forward to this day!) We are so excited for him. Our hearts are filled with tremendous joy as he proclaimes his faith and love for Jesus! Words cannot explain the amazing feeling that comes over a mom when her son promises to live his life believing and following Jesus as his Savior and then to see him being baptized! WOW! This is the most important decision that our children will ever make and this is our prayer for all of our children! Not that the days of praying for him are over. (He will still be faced with many challenges, but he is SAVED by grace!) I am so relieved he knows his Heavenly Father and trusts in Him! I feel our job as parents is now to help him grow even more spiritually and seek God's will in his life. We praise God for this undeserving Grace and the forgiveness He gives for our many sins. May we always remember to share the Good News with everyone! Thanks to Brother Chip for being such a great pastor- we were so glad that he was the one who baptized Benjamin Harris!

Havey was willing to get a quick photo with his "sappy" mom before the Baptism as long as I didn't kiss him and get lipstick on him!

He was "fired-up" the minute he woke up Sunday morning! He also thought it was cool to get to wear shorts, t-shirt , and flip flops to church in the winter! (He wore this under the Baptism robe. Of course, SL wondered why he had to dress all nice- this was quickly settled once he saw I was taking Havey more clothes!)

I am so glad that the kids cooperated for this picture. I really wanted one of us on this special day!

Havey, Nan, and Charli Marie (wearing the beautiful dress that Pop picked out for her & the sweet pearl bracelet from Aunt Traci & Uncle Buddy-can't believe she didn't eat it!!)

Havey and Mama Ann (my mom)

The Knight Men/Boys

Havey and Nathan are not only buddies, they are also Brothers in Christ. He thinks this is really cool!
