Our September Beach Trip to Perdido Beach Resort was so much FUN!!
Okay, so this was a great idea for a really cute photo, but nobody wanted to cooperate. Well, I should really say, Charli-Marie didn't want to cooperate, so nobody did!!! I will have to try this again next year. She will be old enough to bribe- I mean negotiate with- into taking a good picture. This wagon thing at the beach was a great idea. Ben used it to carry everything -toys, cooler, baby tent, diaper bag, and kids- to the beach.
Okay this picture was at Lulu's (a wonderful place for families with good food too) and the boys noticed these buckets with sand and the signs right away! They read, " Put your butts here!" Well, Havey thought this was hilarious! SL thought it was too funny once Havey read the whole sign to him! We do not let the boys say butt, although they do know how to spell it and both of them know which but/butt is the "good one"- as they say! They went all around sticking thier little "fannies" into these barrells. Although they did not completely put their bottoms into them because their "mommy" had tried to gross them out by saying that there were yucky cigarette butts ("Yes, I said butts!") in there and they had all kinds of yucky germs on them!!! Okay, these kids keep us laughing all the time, well almost all the time!
This is the sweetest photo of the kids! Sorry it is so dark.
Ben became obsessed with winning this Fun-E-Ball game in the game room at Perdido Resorty. I know why the boys have such a passion for video games!
Charli-Marie really liked all of the lights in the game room!
Only at the beach do you get to eat spiral cheetos for breakfast in bed- thank goodness they change the sheets everyday! Only a kid can eat cheetos and drink Sunny Delight for breakfast! Yuck!
We made Orgami boats at the beach from the magazines that I had finished reading! The boats really floated! The boys were amazed that I could do this! (I am not so good at making paper airplanes though!)
Cool Beach Dude!
Tired Beach Dude!
These photos were taken a couple of days before we left for the beach. Charli supervises the sorting of the beach toys! She loves her sunglasses!
Ben told the boys to sort through the beach toys and line up the ones they wanted to take with them to Perdido, pile up the ones that were to stay at home and throw away the broken ones. The line of toys was very long! The pile to stay was very small!
